You are invited to have pizza with our pastor!
If you are new to Washington Street UMC, this is a great way to learn more about who we are and what we are about. Our mission is to make the love of God known to all by making a place for everyone. We would love to tell you more about what that means and how you can play a part in it.
Pizza with the Pastor is an informal gathering where you can learn more about the United Methodist Church and specifically Washington Street UMC, meet Pastor Thomas, ask questions, and most of all have free pizza. There is no homework, no high-pressure time-share presentation, and no hidden agenda other than to get you excited about what God is doing in Alexandria through WSUMC.
We want to get to know you a little better and share with you what’s on our hearts for the future of Washington Street UMC. The lunches are held following worship on Sundays in the Fellowship Hall on the main floor of the church; they are offered once a quarter. A notice will be in the church bulletin for the next luncheon, and you can reserve your spot by emailing the Office Manager, Ann Cary McLain, at firstname.lastname@example.org.
