Christmas Eve Candlelight Service
Tuesday, December 24 • 5:30pm

You’re invited! Celebrate and embrace the promise of God delivered through the birth of Jesus at our Christmas Eve Service. It’s the perfect way to center your heart by remembering the miracle of our Savior’s birth through song, God’s Word, and of course the glow of our candlelight tradition. Childcare is available for children ages infant through five years, but all children are invited to participate in worship.

Our Christmas Eve offering this year will go to support the Washington Street UMC Early Education Fund. This fund, established in 2015, helps provide the financial resources needed to send children in Alexandria to early education centers. Managed by ACT for Alexandria, the fund is made available to local non-profits, educational programs, and families to help make early education possible for children of low-income families in the City of Alexandria. You can also give online to the Christmas Offering.

If you have questions about Christmas Eve at Washington Street UMC, you can contact the office at 703-836-4324, or email the office. You can also learn more about Washington Street UMC online or get directions to the church.
