Washington Street UMC will be sending a group to join in a collaborative Lenten prayer retreat, on Friday, March 10-11, 4:00p-4:00p. We will be joining Woodlake UMC, out of Chesterfield, VA, in this retreat called “24 Hours That Changed the World”. Together, in preparation for the season of Lent, we will focus on the final days of Jesus through scripture, messages, music, worship, and prayer.
The retreat will take place at Richmond Hill, which is a historic house on Church Hill in Richmond, VA; the location has been a house of prayer since the Civil War. It is considered by many as Holy Ground!
The retreat is limited in space, so make sure you RSVP early (use the RSVP form below, or contact Cynthia by clicking on her name above)! The cost of the retreat is $65, which includes meals and accommodations. Scholarships are available.
Please note: registration for the retreat begins at 3:30pm in Richmond. We will travel as a group (caravan down), departing Alexandria by 1:30pm on Friday, March 10.
