The acolyte is an important role in supporting worship each Sunday. Not only do they offer the symbolic entry of the presence of Christ through the lighting of the candles, but the acolyte helps lead in a number of different ways throughout the year. They help serve communion, assist with baptisms, and lead the congregation back out into the world to share the light of Christ with others.
