Rising Hope Angel Tree
Rising Hope Angel Tree
Commitment: November & December

Rising Hope is a United Methodist mission church primarily serving the poor who live and work along the Route 1 in Fairfax County. Every December, Rising Hope provides over 400 angel gifts, and our congregation usually adopts about 65 of the angels. The paper angels are hung on a Christmas tree in the church's Fellowship Hall. Each angel notes a specific gift that a parent has requested for his or her child. All gifts should be new and unused and valued around $25.

Each year, we have an Angel Tree coordinator, who ensures all angels are claimed and all gifts are returned by the specified date. The coordinator also lines up transportation for delivering the gifts to Rising Hope in time for their distribution. If you are available to serve as an Angel Tree coordinator, fill out the contact form and join in the work of sharing God's love through the gifting of gifts.
