Ms. Chenelle is passionate about creating a warm, nurturing, and engaging learning environment where young children feel safe, supported, and excited to learn. She began her work in education as a reading tutor, supporting second- and third-grade students with phonics, reading fluency, and confidence-building. She later transitioned into early childhood education and discovered a special joy in working with preschool-aged children.

She has completed her Child Development Associate (CDA) credential and has completed extensive coursework and practicum experience in early childhood education. Ms. Chenelle believes that every child brings unique strengths and perspectives to the classroom, and she strives to build positive relationships with children and families.

Outside of the classroom, Ms. Chenelle enjoys quilting and crochet, going to the theatre, and listening to Caribbean music, especially soca and reggae. She loves bringing her creativity and appreciation for the arts into her work with children.
