Kloe grew up in Minneapolis, Minnesota, and has lived in Alexandria for the past 7 years. She began her career in Philadelphia, PA, working at a local non-profit which provided low-income children with the basic necessities needed to thrive. As a former military spouse, Kloe also spent time in San Diego, CA where she was a Programs Manager at Feeding America San Diego and managed the Groton, CT Department of Defense's Healthy Base Initiative which provided nutrition education to service members and their families. Kloe took time off when her daughter was born but continued to be actively involved as a volunteer at various non-profits in the area. Kloe's daughter attended Washington Street UMC Preschool for two years during the covid-19 pandemic and Kloe was thrilled with the experience her daughter had as well as the very special preschool community the entire family felt a part of. Kloe deeply missed this close-knit community when her daughter started elementary school.

In 2023, Kloe joined the Washington Street Church Preschool staff as Director. She is happy to be a part of the Washington Street UMC Preschool community again and is excited to support the growth and development of young children in a community of families who value a small preschool environment that fosters a love for learning.
